The Department of Budget and Management just marked its 89th anniversary, and what a celebration it was! With the theme “Turning Up the Heat, Keeping the Beat,” the day was filled with energetic fun, gratitude, and a deep sense of unity.

The celebration kicked off with an atmosphere full of anticipation and pride—not just to mark another year, but to honor a legacy. Regional Director Maria Fe D. Jagna opened the afternoon program with a powerful message, reminding everyone that anniversaries are more than celebrations—they're a chance to reflect on the journey, the progress made, and the values that continue to guide the DBM family.

At the heart of the program was the DBM TRESE PRAISE Awarding where outstanding employees were recognized. It served as a tribute to those whose dedication, resilience, and quiet leadership continue to inspire and elevate DBM Caraga to standards of excellence. Their efforts, often behind the scenes, are what keep the Regional Office strong and steadfast. 

This was followed by the awarding of winners from the Annual DBM and PS XIII friendly sports competition, which rekindled the competitive spirit and celebrated the teamwork and camaraderie forged on and off the court.

To cap off the program, Assistant Regional Director Partosa delivered a warm and meaningful closing message. She emphasized that anniversaries are not just about the years passed, but about honoring the people and shared experiences that shaped the organization. She also highlighted how this year’s celebration reflected the spirit of friendship, healthy competition, and the enduring values of DBM.
