May 24, 2022 – Caraga State University (CSU) hosted the second quarter Full-Time Delivery Unit (FDU) meeting with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) at the HERO Auditorium from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The four-series activity was participated by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region XIII and three other universities and colleges, to wit: North Eastern Mindanao University, Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology, and Surigao State College of Technology. Identified representatives from the mentioned agency and institutions presented and discussed important areas on 2022 Physical, Financial, and Income Performances and Initial Evaluation of FY 2023 State Universities and Colleges Budget Proposals under Tier 2 with DBM. Points and suggestions were taken accordingly and were hoped to be incorporated into the next FDU meeting. The DBM also announced a surprise awarding ceremony for agencies having exemplary performance and compliance with financial accountability reports.

The consistent conduct of the quarterly Full-Time Delivery Unit (FDU) Meeting as prescribed under the provisions set by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Circular Letter No. 2015-84 is idealized to ensure that the agencies and departments function in an environment where the execution of programs and platforms is undertaken according to the set timelines and targets. Further, the activity also monitors fiscal performances. As this quarter’s host, the University looks at this as a privilege to become a venue in allowing the flourish of prompt and timely fiscal performance with the help and monitoring of the DBM.
