DBM Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman turned over the FY 2023 NEP to House Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez on August 22, 2022.

Together with Budget Preparation and Execution Undersecretary Tina Rose Marie Canda and Budget Policy and Strategy Undersecretary Joselito Basilio, Sec. Pangandaman briefed the media on the details of the administration's first full-year budget.

"As you know, we face a lot of external pressures. Despite these, it’s the government’s responsibility to ensure that none of its citizens is left behind," the Budget Chief said.
