After meeting the league of local budget officers in Visayas, Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman is set to attend another annual conference of local budget officers, this time in Mindanao, on Monday, 21 November 2022.

The Budget Secretary is Guest of Honor at the Mindanao League of Local Budget Officers (MLLBO) Inc. Annual Conference and Seminar in Zamboanga City. She is expected to administer the Oath Taking Ceremony of newly-elected MLLBO Officers on the first day of the event.

With the theme, “Strengthening Local Government Public Financial Management (PFM) thru Digitalization,” the three-day conference will bring together Local Government Unit (LGU) officials and employees from different provinces, cities, and municipalities in Mindanao.

Secretary Pangandaman, a staunch reformist and champion for digitalization of the bureaucracy, is set to deliver a Keynote Message to the participants on the first day.

In the same day, the Budget Secretary will likewise grace the celebration of the 45th anniversary of DBM Region IX Office.
