The DBM-Siete has reached the highest rating of Grade A, 5-Stars, as it garnered almost 100% compliance with its energy efficiency and conservation policies during the Energy Audit Spot Check conducted by the Department of Energy (DOE) last April 20, 2022.
The agency was represented by the OIC-Regional Director Lenin S. Bernales together with its Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC) Officers, Ms. Maricor U. Baquial, OIC-Assistant Regional Director, Janina I. Mamalo, OIC-Chief Administrative Officer, and Reich G. Ybiernas, Administrative Officer V.
Ms. Cherry Cris A. Garate, Supply Officer, also assisted during the on-site inspection while Mr. Cruz M. Buton, Driver, answered questions regarding the fuel-saving measures of the agency.
The said audit follows the Inter-Agency Energy Efficiency and Conservation Committee’s (IAEECC) advisory on the “Mandatory Implementation of Energy Efficiency and Conservation Programs, and the Strict Observance of the Government Energy Management Program (GEMP) Guidelines”.
