DBM RO VII marked a momentous event as it celebrated its employees’ promotion and ushered its new members on March 17, 2022.

An oath-taking ceremony officiated by OIC- Regional Director Lenin S. Bernales, was held for two newly appointed and promoted personnel.

With a warm welcome, the newly-hired employees, Ms. Beatriz A. Malait and Mr. Hans Storm N. Sasam were sworn in as Supervising Administrative Officer and Administrative Officer II (Designated Human Resource Management Officer), respectively, under the Financial and Administrative Division (FAD).

Ms. Beatriz A. Malait is already a seasoned public servant having served more than twelve years for the Department of Education as an Administrative Assistant III and later on as an Administrative Officer V.

Mr. Hans Storm N. Sasam is a young hopeful coming from the private sector, having experience in the events coordination and newspaper publication industries.

In recognition of the hard work and skills of its employees, DBM RO VII also celebrated the advancement and reappointment of two of its current employees, Ms. Cherry Cris A. Garate and Ms. Maria Paz C. Ongco.

Ms. Cherry Cris A. Garate was promoted to Budget and Management Specialist II effective February 09, 2022. She was formerly the AO III (designated Supply officer).

While Ms. Maria Paz C. Ongco, formerly a contractual employee of DBM 7 was reappointed to Budget and Management Analyst.

Both Ms. Ongco and Ms. Garate have already proven themselves worthy of the DBM standard, having already dedicated years of service to the agency. And while the newly-hired personnel are still to prove themselves, the whole of DBM RO 7 expects great things from these four, both new and old, for the years to come.
