The Department of Budget and Management (DBM), in collaboration with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), have now opened the registration for the highly anticipated 2025 Philippine Open Government Partnership (OGP) Fun Run. Scheduled for January 26, 2025, Sunday, at the Quirino Grandstand, this event invites the public to participate in a dynamic run that champions transparency, accountability, and participatory governance.
“Konting tulog na lang po at tatakbo na tayo! Napakaganda po kasi talaga ng adbokasiyang ipinaglalaban natin dito sa OGP Fun Run. This is about stepping forward with conviction, advancing transparency and participation in governance. I really hope everyone could join us in this movement towards a more open and accountable Philippines,” says Secretary Mina.
The OGP Fun Run serves as a precursor to the 2025 OGP Asia and Pacific Regional Meeting, which will gather high-level representatives from government, the private sector, and civil society. Scheduled for February 5-7, 2025, this meeting aims to foster open governance across Asia and the Pacific.
The initiative aligns with President Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr.'s vision of creating a more inclusive and people-centered governance framework in the Philippines.
The race begins promptly at 4:30 AM, with the following race categories and registration fees:
• 3 kilometers - Php 700
• 5 kilometers - Php 800
• 10 kilometers - Php 1,000
Each registration fee includes a race bib, an official Fun Run shirt, and other essential event materials. Most importantly, the proceeds will directly support the PRC’s critical lifesaving initiatives.
Government agencies and participating organizations should compile their participant lists and submit them using the provided reply slips to the DBM. Payments should be made via checks payable to the PRC. Further information on payment methods and bank details will be provided separately.

Registration para sa 2025 Philippine Open Government Partnership Fun Run, bukas na; DBM Secretary Mina Pangandaman, ready nang tumakbo
Binuksan na ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM), sa pakikipagtulungan sa Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) at Philippine Red Cross (PRC), ang registration para sa inaabangang 2025 Philippine Open Government Partnership (OGP) Fun Run. Naka-schedule sa January 26, 2025, Linggo, sa Quirino Grandstand, ang iniimbitahan ng event na ito ang publiko na makisali sa isang dynamic na pagtakbo na nagtataguyod ng transparency, accountability, at participatory governance.

Ang OGP Fun Run ay nagsisilbing paunang bahagi ng 2025 OGP Asia and Pacific Regional Meeting, na magtitipon ng mga high-level na kinatawan mula sa gobyerno, pribadong sektor, at civil society. Nakatakdang ganapin mula February 5-7, 2025, layunin ng pulong na ito na itaguyod ang bukas na pamamahala sa buong Asia at the Pacific.
Umaayon ang inisyatibong ito sa pananaw ni Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr. na lumikha ng mas inklusibo at people-centered na balangkas ng pamamahala sa Pilipinas.
Magsisimula ang fun run nang eksakto sa 4:30 AM, na may sumusunod na kategorya at registration fees:
• 3 kilometro - Php 700
• 5 kilometro - Php 800
• 10 kilometro - Php 1,000
Kasama sa bawat bayad sa pagpaparehistro ang race bib, opisyal na Fun Run shirt, at iba pang mahahalagang materyales para dito.. Pinakamahalaga, ang mga nalikom ay direktang susuporta sa mga kritikal na lifesaving initiatives ng PRC.
Ang mga ahensya ng gobyerno at mga kalahok na organisasyon ay dapat ipunin ang kanilang mga listahan ng kalahok at isumite ang mga ito sa DBM gamit ang ibinigay na reply slips. Ang mga payment ay dapat gawin sa pamamagitan ng tseke na nakapangalan sa PRC. Ang karagdagang impormasyon ukoll sa payment method at bank details ay ibibigay nang hiwalay.
