Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah "Mina" F. Pangandaman approved the issuance of an Authority to Purchase Motor Vehicle (APMV) amounting to P454 million to the Department of Health (DOH) to beef up the country's healthcare system.
The approval of the APMV is intended for the procurement of 173 units of motor vehicles chargeable against the Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) of the DOH under the FY 2024 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
The HFEP aims to address healthcare delivery gaps and make the country's facilities and services more accessible.
"The purchasing of additional medical vehicles will surely augment the ongoing structural enhancements of our healthcare system. Sinusuportahan po natin ang hangarin ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos na bigyang-prayoridad ang pagpapalakas sa ating mga health facility para makapagbigay ng mas mahusay at maasahang serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan," Secretary Mina said.
The APMV will fund the procurement of 161 units of Land Ambulance, 2 units of Mobile Primary Care Facility (Mobile Clinic), 4 units of Sea Ambulance, 4 units of Passenger Van, 1 Van (Patient Transport Vehicle), and 1 Van (Mobile Blood Donation Van).
This APMV covers the second batch of motor vehicles (MVs), following the first batch of 141 units of MVs covered by the APMV issued on 11 June 2024.
Sec. Pangandaman approved the latest APMV on 17 October 2024.

Pangandaman, inaprubahan ang P454 milyon para sa 2nd batch ng medical vehicles ng DOH
Inaprubahan ni Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah "Mina" F. Pangandaman ang pagpapalabas ng Authority to Purchase Motor Vehicle (APMV) na nagkakahalaga ng P454 milyon para sa Department of Health (DOH) upang mapalakas ang healthcare system ng bansa.
Inaprubahan ang APMV para sa procurement ng 173 units ng motor vehicles na nakalagak sa Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) ng DOH sa ilalim ng FY 2024 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
Layon ng HFEP na tugunan ang healthcare delivery gaps at gawing mas accessible ang mga pasilidad at serbisyo ng bansa.

Popondohan ng APMV ang procurement ng 161 units ng Land Ambulance, 2 units ng Mobile Primary Care Facility (Mobile Clinic), 4 units ng Sea Ambulance, 4 units ng Passenger Van, 1 Van (Patient Transport Vehicle), and 1 Van (Mobile Blood Donation Van).
Sakop ng APMV ang second batch of mga sasakyan, kasunod ng first batch na may 141 units sa ilalim ng APMV na inisyu noong ika-11 ng Hunyo 2024.
Inaprubahan ni Sec. Pangandaman ang latest APMV noong ika-17 ng Oktubre 2024.
