DBM Press Release

Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah Pangandaman directs all concerned offices to mobilize a coordinated response following the 7.6 magnitude earthquake that struck Davao Oriental earlier today, 10 October 2025.
The Budget Secretary also instructed the DBM Regional Office to coordinate with their counterparts in other agencies, such as the Department of Health, Department of Social Welfare and Development, and Office of Civil Defense, on how to assist affected communities.
"We will continue to monitor the situation in impacted areas.
On Friday, the powerful quake struck offshore Davao Oriental, prompting a tsunami warning from the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology for several provinces in Mindanao and Visayas.
